¿Qué documentos necesito?

Once you have chosen your apartment and accepted the rental conditions, prepare and send us the following documents, if you are:

I. A company:

  • Copy of the Company’s deed of incorporation.
  • Company`s address and Fiscal number.
  • Copy of the power-of-attorney granted to the Company’s legal representative and copy of his /her passport or ID.
  • Copy of last year’s Company Tax Return.
  • Copy of the future tenant’s passport or ID.

II. Self-employed:

  • Copy of ID or Passport.
  • Copy of the last two Tax Return Declarations as well as any other information proving any source of income.

III: Employee:

  • Copy of employment contract or letter from employer stating employment seniority and type of labor contract (temporary or permanent).
  • Copy of last 3 pay slips.
  • Copy of passport or ID.

IV.  Student:

  • Letter of acceptance from host University and tuition paymenet receipt proof of registration payment.
  • Permanent address in country of residence.
  • Copy of passport or ID.
  • Proof of financial solvency (please contact Equinox in advance, as required documents may depend on client's yttpersonal situation).
  • Letter of commitment to pay rent from the parents with address, email, and mobile number.
  • Parents' passport.

Note: The above documentation is personal. Each tenant must submit a folder with their documents.

¿Cómo reservar un piso?

Book your apartment with 50% to 100% of a monthly rental (depending on type of contract) via bank transfer or by credit card. Booking amount fee will be deducted from the required 2-month deposit  (the owner may request additional guarantees).

Cancellation policies

Cancellation penalty  16-30 days prior to arrival date: 50% of booking fee

Cancellation penalty   1-16 days prior to arrival date:   100% of booking fee

¿Cuál es el procedimiento de pago?

Once we have confirmed availability and once we have received the required documentation, you can proceed with the payment (Equinox will provide terms and breakdown)

Important: Full payment of rental must be carried-out before the keys are handed over, either by credit card* or by bank transfer.

*For credit card payments,  clients will assume any commission charged by the bank.

Payment process:

I. Deposit

The equivalent of 2-month rent (booking fee previously paid will be discounted)

Half or all the deposit (depending on the type of rental) will be transferred to  INCASOL (Catalan Land Institute) during the rental. The deposit will be returned approximately 30 days after the end of the contract, as long as the apartment is handed over clean and in good maintenance conditions.

II. Current month of rent

In case the rental does not start on day one, payment will not be based on the total monthly price but on the days the client used the rental.

‍I‍II. Agency Fee

A. Rental between 1-3 months: 60% of one month rent plus VAT.

B. Rental between 4-5 months: 80% of one month renta plus VAT.

C. Rental between 6-10 months: 100% of one month rent plus VAT.

D. Rental for 11 months or more: 10% of an annuity plus VAT.

Note: Agency fees apply in case of extension or renewal of contract.

III. Final cleaning

Final cleaning is compulsory.  Price will depend on the apartment's size. Cleaning fee will be confirmed at the time of booking.

¿Cuándo firmo el contrato y cuándo puedo ocupar el piso?

Handing over of keys will take place from Monday till Friday from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm. Check-in/out during weekends or after 6:30 pm will have an additional cost of 50€.
